Coming straight outta… FlyerHeroes. The inspiration behind this design is clear and that’s exactly what makes it work. With the “Straight Outta” style becoming a modern classic in pop culture, this template uses that iconic, high-impact typography to create an old skool hip hop flyer that grabs attention fast. “Straight Outta” is a free Photoshop PSD flyer template built for rap events, open mic nights, DJ sets, and hip hop nightclubs that need a clean message, strong hierarchy, and a gritty, street-inspired vibe.
Before we get carried away, it’s important to note that this free flyer template is not associated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Straight Outta Compton movie. It’s fan-made artwork created as a tribute to the aesthetic, and shared with you completely free. If you’re a newer designer, this PSD is also a solid learning resource: explore the layer structure, examine the type treatments, and see how the background textures and contrast are built for readability.
Flyer designs in this style stay popular because they’re easy to scan, easy to remember, and highly effective for promotion—especially on social media and when printed for street distribution. Customizing this template is straightforward: replace the image area with your own stock photo or performer shot, update the headline and event details, adjust colors if needed, and you’re ready to export for print or web. The layout is ideal for showcasing key info like the night, time, venue, and special notes (for example, “Open mic before 12”). If you create your own version, share your results in the tutorial comments so others can learn from your edits.
